About Us

The Council is a nonprofit corporation organized to promote international trade within the North Louisiana, Southwest Arkansas and Northeast Texas region.

We serve as an educational and resource center for the area’s business community, chambers of commerce, port authorities, economic development groups, and corporations/individuals interested in promoting international trade. We serve as a resource in originating export initiatives, and work with all community groups interested in making this area more attractive as a major international trade and distribution center.

To this end, we sponor seminars, workshops, conferences, and trade missions. We also formulate positions or policies on questions of common interest, and present such positions and recommendations to the membership and appropriate governmental agencies.
